Illustrations from Photographs in Five minutes
62Five Minute Art Strikes Again!
Take your photographs, especially the ones that have not come out okay, and create beautiful art from them! Take them to Photoshop, and have fun trying out effects. When you strike gold, print them out and frame them up!
Just wanted to share my pix, and encourage you to do the same. Most of you already do this, and are experts at Photoshop effects, but those who are not, go here, where I have put up a tutorial.
Cheers!

So Creative, Kenny!!!
I love the photoshop filters!! You can make anything look artsy with them! Good hub!
Love this! Yes, a tutorial please, I'm clueless at this type thing.
Sent a link to your hub to my daughters and especially grandaughter Sarah who purposely takes some really strange and beautiful photos of things around town and even just lights, with camera moving...lol She'll love this for sure!
Will give her something fun to do til school restarts after New Years,
DJ
Those are really good. I failed at using Photoshop, but I found that Paint.Net works just as well, in case anyone doesn't have Photoshop. :) Thanks for writing this hub. You know, those look so good that you might be able to post them on DeviantArt and sell them as prints. :)
oh, this is wonderful! grand Hub!
I love that bottom image. ?you? and your cat, pondering the mysteries of the universe together
:) you should have that printed up and framed. what a wonderful family memento. I would hate to think you'd let it slide off as a stray image in a Hub. your son looks like he has a philosophic soul - you must be very proud.
hehe. children
Great hub, I would not have thought of doing it. I use paint shop pro. And have messed about with stone imaging etc but would never have thought of doing it like that.
Yes I would like to see next hub. Thanks.
I am just a novice, all I do use automatic photo software. So if you give us intstruction like Zsuzsy request, it will be great for us. I use Picasa, seldom for editing, I just keep the original :)
I haven´t "play" with Photoshop for a while but I still remember of doing great oil paintings from photo views! Some of them could be in a museum now lol.
Fantastic! Hey Kenny, I like your profile.
Wonderful art. Tutorial would be really nice.
Great pictures Kenny!! The subjects, angles of the pictures would have been just as good without the photo-shop effects, nevertheless still great effects..
;)
What a beautiful shot of your son and the cat. Just a young you I am thinking...I am so not into what you are doing here...but will watch and see if I can pick up on it. Do lot's of photo's myelf, but unable to share as yet..You are a great man. G-Ma :O)
Thank you again for a GREAT Hub Kenny-Shariff!!
I learn so much from you and your generous and creative Hubs!!
I dabbled in PhotoShop this year (I am a beginner-beginner!!) to create all my Christmas gifts!! I used the snapshots of friends I had taken during the year, loaded them into PhotoShop, and softened some of the lines in all their lovely faces!! I then printed them out on canvas and wrapped them around stretcher bars!! They were a BIT hit!!
I look forward to many more of your wonderful and inspiring Hubs!! And your Hubs on PhotoShop!! You are the BEST Kenny!!
Happy New Year!! Blessings, Earth Angel!!
Yes Kenny do put up a tutorial.I would like to know how you did it.I have Adobe photoshop installed in my PC.Will I be able to do it? JUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUST FANTABULOUS!
Hey Kenny, you're a real artist! Some of these would look good in any national gallery! I tend to play around with my pics too, but rarely save the results, maybe I should start, seeing what you came up with here! Great effects, especially love the cat pic.
This is beautiful art. I am very impressed with your layout eye!
